He really love physics. His proof and derivations are powerful. His explanations are sharp, directly pointing out the key to solve a problem. And he is really really friendly, and would like to help students during office hours.

If mid year exams do not help your grade, only final counts. Homework is optional. Highly conceptual class, no calculators are used on exams.

Great teacher. Really challenges students. Loves to answer and help students. If you understand the homework, you'll do well on exams, but homework is very difficult. Scores are generally low on homework and sometimes exams (although homework and mid year exams won't affect your grade if your final is your greaexam score.) Just keep up with the material and work difficult and it will payoff. Read the sections before class! It helps a lot!
