Robert Crouch

As far as UCSB goes, taking Econ 1 with Crouch is a RIGHT OF PASSAGE as an Econ student. I've met UCSB alumi from the 60s, 70s, & 80s and they all had Crouch for Econ 1. Crouch is a total Badass. He tells the class to take "30 second breaks", then takes a two second swig of his coffee/vodka and continues lecturing. I saw him make not one, but two girls cry by calling them out in front of the class. Ceteris Paribus, he is the greaexam prof at UCSB. Take him if you think you can handle his outstandingness.

If you couldn't even do well in his class then greaexam of luck in upper division Econ, though I would personally suggest changing your major to something more fitting such as Communication or Women's Studies.
