I didnt expect college professors to be this friendly and helpful, so it was really nice to have him my first quarter. The test were fair, if you kept up with what was happening in class you would be fine.

Knows his work, and is very accommodating. About the same difficulty as my AP class. He does not curve but is reasonable and friendly with grading. Very friendly teacher, especially during his office hours.

Not that great of a lecturer, my high school AP Chem teacher can teach better than him. His demos are fun and fascinating, so that's a step up from other teachers. But his exams are difficult and all multiple choice, plus no curve. Some people find mc exams simple, some did not. so up to you. overall, i wouldn't recommend as first choice.

Laverman is an EXCELLENT teacher. He's one of the greaexam profs I've had. His exams ARE difficult and you definitely need to study for them. Attend lecture cause iClicker counts! His class demonstrations are great and they keep you engaged. I would recommend him to anyone, specifically biochem and chem majors.

This prof. is a very intelligent man however he does not teach as well as some of the other prof.s that are available. He DOES NOT CURVE examS OR CLASS so it makes it that much difficulter. Not to mention that his exams are impartially difficult.

He's a great teacher!!
