As a lifeguard with Six Flags Inc.-Hurricane Harbor Los Angeles, you'll have the important task of ensuring the safety of our members and guests. As a lifeguard, you must possess the following skills:
Comfortable in and around open water with knowledge of safety considerations
Comfortable in deep water and basic ability to use watercraft like surfboards, paddleboards, and kayaks
Ability to pass lifeguard prerequisite exam, including a 550-meter open water swim and treading water without using hands for 2 minutes
Experience working with or teaching children is preferred
Red Cross Certification or WSI certification is a plus but not required
Must be at least 18 years old
