Riverside County P&R-The Cove Waterpark is hiring responsible, energetic, communicative people as lifeguards this summer. As a lifeguard, you'll be responsible for the safety of our members and guests. students working for Riverside County P&R-The Cove Waterpark can expect competitive pay and tons of fun. As a lifeguard, you must possess the following skills:
• Comfortable in and around open water and basic knowledge of safety considerations
• Comfortable in deep water with basic ability to use watercraft (Surfboard, paddleboard, kayak)
• Ability to pass lifeguard prerequisite exam (550-meter open water swim, tread water without use of hands - 2 min, etc.)
• Experience working with, or teaching children preferred
• Red Cross Certification or WSI certification preferred but not essential
• 18+ years of age

You will have the opportunity to work intentionally on skills in the following areas: Leadership, Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Creativity & Work Ethic.
