SAA Native American Scholarships
The Native American Scholarships endowment fund, established in 1988, aims to promote collaboration between archaeologists and Native Americans. The following competitive scholarships are available:

- SAA Arthur C. Parker Scholarship: Supports archaeological training for Native Americans involved in tribal, Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian cultural preservation programs. Award amounts vary, and funding is not limited to field schools. (One available for 2025)
- SAA Native American Undergraduate Archaeology Scholarship: Provides up to $6,000 for Native American undergraduate students in 2024, covering tuition, travel, housing, and more. (One available for 2025)
- SAA Native American Graduate Archaeology Scholarship: Offers up to $10,000 for Native American graduate students in 2024, covering similar expenses as the undergraduate scholarship. (One available for 2025)
- Bertha Parker Cody Award for Native American Women: Supports undergraduate and graduate studies for Native American, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian women, including gender non-conforming individuals in archaeology and museum studies. This award covers various expenses and is partially funded by the Autry Museum of the American West. (One available each year)
