Curaao: Marine Biology Adventure

At the CARMABI Research Center in Curaao, classrooms are more than a bunch of desks inside four walls. These reef walls teem with brightly colored marine life and descend to 6000 feet. These are also mangrove channels, seagrass beds, and blindingly white beaches. Students come with a budding interest in the underwater world and, with the guidance of marine biologists, nurture it into a full-blown, hands-on exploration of tropical marine biology.
